MEET THE PRESIDENT

minnie

Minnie Hadley-Hempstead, a LAUSD retired teacher, is a native of Yazoo City, MS. She has made Los Angeles home for over fifty years. Minnie is a Life Member of the NAACP and has worked with the Los Angeles Branch, serving as a member of the Executive Committee, Treasurer, and First Vice President. As a former educator, she chaired the Education Committee for many years. She now holds the position of President of the Los Angeles Branch.

Greetings from Mrs. Hadley-Hempstead: “After years of volunteering with the NAACP, I am honored to lead the Los Angeles Branch. It is our goal to serve and sustain positive relationships with our local community. We will continue to uphold the mission and vision of the organization, and I look forward to all the wonderful work that we will accomplish together!”
