begins new Job Readiness Program
 
The Los Angeles NAACP is currently recruiting students for its new job training program which will prepare participants for work in the clerical and entertainment fields.  Instruction in the clerical track will include general and advanced computer skills, office equipment operation and office procedures.  Students enrolled in the entertainment track will learn skills which prepare them for entry level production assistant jobs, including cinematography, sound design and video production.  Upon successful graduation from the program, students will be assisted in finding employment.
Eligible adults (18+) must live in the Los Angeles area, be committed to a 4 month training program and should have a high school diploma or GED or be willing to attain one.
